ABOUT
Core principle of operation and funding The National Alliance is not a political party but an alliance between important strands of Irish opinion.
A core principle of the National Alliance is that it’s success will be based on the participation and support of ordinary citizens, rather than any narrow range of sectional interests:
- We will not allow a small number of large donations to dominate our funding, donations whose very size would raises questions of motive and purpose:
- We accept no funding from non-Irish sources (we do accept funding from the Irish Diaspora) nor from bodies whose funds rely on involuntary or compulsory contributions from citizen taxpayer, whether in the public or private sector:
- We accept donations only from not-for-profit organisations that are clearly Irish and from Irish citizens and their descendants.
Our approach:
We seek to unite the mutually compatible strands of opinion under a set of common core values and policies. Policies are open to alteration and evolution but those who join the Alliance must agree and abide by those core values. We exclude those who are opposed to these core principles, or who hold racist or anti-Semitic viewpoints or have links with groups or individuals that hold such views.
